Redirect shoppers to your Commerce store when they enter your domain URL. When you
connect your store to a domain, your store has access to the Salesforce content delivery network
(CDN), with Cloudflare as the CDN partner. If you don’t yet have a domain, you can choose one
from the sample registrars or any other trusted registrar.
If you don’t own a domain, you can set up one now by using one of the suggested
registrars or any other trusted registrar. Under Don’t Own a Domain Yet, click
Get Started. After you register your domain, you can verify
it.
Under Connect Your Store to a Custom Domain, click Get
Started.
Enter the domain URL, and click Verify Domain.
The system analyzes the domain status and guides you to link your domain to your
store.
Link your domain to your store.
From the store Settings, copy the host name and record values for your domain and
TLS Certificate.
Sign in to your domain registrar, and locate your DNS records.
Paste the values that you copied from your store into the DNS records.
Return to your store’s domain settings, and select I've updated my DNS
records
Click Next.
(Optional) Under Create a Custom Path for Your Domain, enter a unique path. You can
also create a custom path later from the Setup page.
To reuse the same domain for multiple stores, you can set up a unique path for the
domain, such as “shoes.”
Click Connect.
It can take up to 2-24 hours for your store to be connected to your domain.
You’re notified after the connection is complete. After your store and domain are
connected, when you enter your custom domain in a browser, you’re redirected to your
store.
