Which Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?
Commerce Subscriptions and Salesforce Pricing features are included in orgs with either a Commerce Growth license or a Commerce Advanced license, along with a Revenue Cloud Advanced license. To purchase these licenses, contact your Salesforce account representative.
Before you begin setting up subscription products, make sure that you have a B2B store that is ready to sell using Custom Checkout and configured to use Salesforce Payments.
These are the high-level steps to set up subscriptions in your B2B store.
- Assign permissions to use Commerce subscriptions. Ensure that merchants have the necessary permissions to use billing, payments, and taxes in your store.
- Enable selling subscriptions for B2B stores. Integrate with Revenue Cloud, enable
Salesforce Pricing, and configure billing, payments, shipping, and taxes in your store.
- Set up billing for Commerce Subscriptions.
- Enable Salesforce Pricing and subscriptions in your org.
- Create a default pricing procedure in your org.
- Set field-level security and read access for buyers.
- Automate post-order management for subscriptions.
- Configure Commerce pages to support subscriptions.
- Configure checkout to support subscriptions for B2B stores.
- Configure subscription shopping in a Commerce store. Update the store pages to enable buyers to subscribe to products and view and manage their subscriptions.
- Create a digital subscription product in a Commerce store. Set up the products in your store as evergreen (non-expiring) or term-bsaed (expiring) subscription products by adding a proration policy and subscription selling model to the product.
- Refresh price book entries.
After you've set up Commerce subscriptions in your store, merchants can set up price adjustments, and generate invoices.
