Prerequisites for Order Management
There are a few mandatory steps to take before setting up Order Management. Some of these steps depend on which Commerce product you’re running. Additionally, there are a few optional steps you can take before proceeding with the setup.
Mandatory prerequisites:
- Make sure that Lightning Experience is enabled. Order Management isn’t supported on Salesforce Classic or Mobile. You can view record pages on Mobile, but can’t use Order Management features.
- Purchase and activate an Order Management license. A license is included with a developer org or when you’re using a partner-approved Order Management template ID to create a trial org.
- For B2B or D2C Commerce, run the Commerce Setup Assistant.
Optional setup steps
- Enable person accounts. You can enable person accounts via the Commerce Setup Assitant additional setup steps or you can enable them manually.
- Enable multiple currencies.
