Payment Processing for Order Management
To let Order Management execute payment authorizations, captures and issue refunds, integrate a payments component. You can view payment activity in the order payment summary for each order.
You can control the sequence in which to apply refund amounts to payment methods. For example, if an order was partially paid with a gift card, you could refund to the gift card first, regardless of how the payment amounts were originally distributed.
For information about implementing payment sequencing, see payment sequencing.
- Salesforce Payments for Order Management with B2B and D2C Commerce
For easy payment integration with Order Management, install Salesforce Payments, which is available on the core Salesforce platform. Salesforce Payment works with B2B and D2C Commerce only. - Manually Configure a Payment Gateway for Order Management
If you don’t use Salesforce Payments or you’re using B2C Commerce, you can manually configure a payment gateway to view and manage payments in Order Management. Configure a gateway for each payment provider, for example, Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, or Cybersource. Payment packages are available on AppExchange for some vendors. - Payment Methods for Order Management with B2C Commerce
For B2C Commerce, the Order Management integration with Salesforce Payments supports credit cards, digital wallets, and non-card options, such as SEPA and iDEAL. - Define an Alternative Payment Method for Order Management
You can define a payment method other than a credit card or digital wallet. - Set Up Payment Gateways with StoreIntegratedService
Order on Behalf Of can take payment for the order and use the Commerce Webstore Payment Token and Commerce Webstore Checkout Payments APIs. To let your store access these APIs, use the StoreIntegratedService entity to associate your WebStore with the Payment Gateway. - Payment Sequencing
You can control the sequence in which to apply original funds or refund amounts to payment methods. For example, if an order is partially paid with a gift card, you can refund the gift card first, regardless of how the payment amounts were originally distributed. Or, if the order is modified between when different fulfillment groups are fulfilled, you can capture the partial payment amount from the gift card first in the case that a future order fulfillment is canceled, and preserve the full gift card amount.
