Processing payments is an integral part of the Order on Behalf Of process. Whether you’re
using Order Entry or OOBO with Order Management, you need a payment service. You can find
payment activity in the order payment summary for each order.
There are three ways to configure a payment service. You can use Salesforce Payments, you can
use an AppExchange service, or you can configure your own. Depending on what Commerce product
you’re using, the setup can vary.
To configure a payment service for B2B or D2C Commerce, first add a payment service for store
checkout. If you’re using Salesforce Payments, add a payment service before connecting
Salesforce Payments to Order on Behalf Of.
To configure a payment gateway for B2C Commerce, either configure Salesforce Payments for
OOBO or set up a payment service.
Before configuring Salesforce Payments to work with B2C, B2B, or D2C Commerce, ensure you’ve
fully installed and implemented Salesforce Payments.
