          Store Fulfillment App Setup

          Store Fulfillment App Setup

The Store Fulfillment app provides guided workflows that walk store associates through the process of picking and packing each order. Store associates can indicate how much of each item they can fulfill and how much they can pack. They can also track the items that they can’t fulfill and the reasons for rejection. Access to the site is controlled using the Identity User license. After the Identity User license is configured, create accounts for your store associates and assign the license to them.

          1. Set Up a Store Fulfillment Site
The Store Fulfillment template guides you through creating a fulfillment site. After you set up your site, make it accessible to anyone with the Identity User license.
          2. Configure Object and Field-Level Security for the Store Fulfillment Application
After your site is set up and ready to use, give store associates and other users access to the fields used by the application.
          3. Provide Access to Store Fulfillment Apex Classes
The Store Fulfillment app uses an Apex class and Visualforce page for the pick ticket generation and picking process. Configure your user profiles to access these items.
          4. Configuring Shipping Labels for the Store Fulfillment App
To let store associates view and print shipping labels for a packed order, configure the logic for the app. If the logic isn’t configured, the labels don’t show, and store associates see an empty page. The Store Fulfillment app contains placeholder logic to facilitate creating shipping labels.
          5. Configure Rejection Reasons
If a store associate can’t pick an item, they can select a reason for rejection. The options are Damaged, Just Sold, Out of Packing Supplies, Out of Stock, and Other. You can also create your own reasons.
          6. Configure Store Associate Users
Set up your store associates and assign them the necessary permission set to access the store fulfillment app.
          7. Assign an Associate to a Location
To process orders, assign a store associate to at least one location.
