Pay Now Setup
Use the Commerce Setup Assistant to set up Pay Now as a standalone feature or for orgs with Payments and B2B and D2C Commerce. The Commerce Setup Assistant is available for either configuration. The assistant enables Salesforce Payments, a prerequisite for Pay Now, and it automates the creation of a Pay Now store.
Pay Now as a standalone feature requires only a Payments license. Pay Now with Commerce requires a Salesforce Commerce license plus a Payments license. Review license and feature information in Salesforce Payments Licenses.
- Set Up Pay Now as a Standalone Feature
Use the Commerce Setup Assistant to set up Pay Now. This assistant is available with Salesforce Payments, regardless of whether you have B2B and D2C Commerce. The assistant enables Salesforce Payments, which is a prerequisite to use Pay Now, and helps you create a Pay Now store. - Set Up Pay Now for Orgs with Payments and Commerce
For orgs with B2B and D2C Commerce plus Payments, use the Commerce Setup Assistant to set up Pay Now. The assistant automates Commerce setup, enables Salesforce Payments, which is a prerequisite to use Pay Now, and creates a Pay Now store. - Enable Self-Registration and OTP Authentication for Pay Now Stores
Enable your buyers to self-register and securely authenticate one-time payments at checkout directly through the Pay Now store. This setup enables buyers to securely save their shipping addresses and payment methods directly to their profiles for future use. During subsequent visits, buyers can opt to log in via a unique one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered contact number rather than remembering a password. After authenticating, the system automatically retrieves their saved contact information and payment details to populate the checkout fields. - Troubleshoot Your Pay Now Setup
The Commerce Setup Assistant automates the setup of a Pay Now store. If you have any issues with Pay Now, you can verify the setup configuration.
