Enable Salesforce Payments Manually
To use Salesforce Payments in B2B and D2C Commerce stores for financial transactions, first set up an Experience Cloud site as a data channel between the payment provider and Payments. Then, enable Payments for your org and assign permissions to users. Finally, follow a guided setup to create a merchant account and payment method set, which is a group of payment methods that you accept from customers.
- Set Up a Channel Manually for Payment Data
Set up an Experience Cloud site as a channel for payment data to flow from the payment gateway to Salesforce Payments. This site is required to enable Salesforce Payments and it’s used only as a data pipeline. Your customers don’t access this site. - Enable Salesforce Payments for Commerce and Pay Now
Instead of using a third-party provider, use Salesforce Payments, the native service you can use to accept payments during checkout. With Salesforce Payments, you can offer customers a variety of payment options. Payments is available for B2B, D2C, and Pay Now stores. After you enable Payments, you can't disable it. - Assign Admin Permissions for Salesforce Payments
At least one individual in your org must have admin permissions to manage payment settings and enable features.
