Salesforce Payments
Salesforce Payments, our native payment service, streamlines your checkout process and provides secure transactions for your customers. Bring new sites to market across geographies using a variety of payment methods, such as credit and debit cards, direct debit, digital wallets, and non-credit card alternatives like SEPA Debit and Bancontact. Salesforce Payments also powers Pay Now for quick creation of unique or reusable payment links that you can embed with any record in Salesforce. Salesforce Payments is offered as a standalone license or with Salesforce Commerce and Order Management for a complete commerce solution
- Salesforce Payments Licenses for Commerce and Pay Now
You can use Salesforce Payments and Pay Now independently or in conjunction with Salesforce Commerce. Choose a license based on the features you need, and whether you want only payment processing or a comprehensive checkout experience. - Salesforce Payments Editions
Learn about the editions and user interfaces that support Salesforce Payments. - Payments Personas and Permissions
A typical Salesforce Payments implementation involves several task-based personas that require certain permissions to do their jobs. - Salesforce Payments Setup
Use Salesforce Payments for easy-to-integrate payment processing for B2B and D2C Commerce and Pay Now stores. - Let Customers Save and Manage Their Payment Methods
Give registered customers the option to save their payment information for future transactions. Saving payment methods reduces a customer's checkout time because previously entered information is filled in. For B2B and D2C stores that use custom checkout, you must enable this feature manually. For D2C stores that use managed checkout and Pay Now stores, this feature is enabled by default. The option to save payment methods isnʼt supported for guest customers. - Enable Payment Methods Sharing in B2B Stores
Give B2B buyers more control and flexibility with their payment methods by enabling payment methods sharing in B2B stores. By default, payment methods are linked to individual contacts and remain private. However, when you enable shared payments, buyers can share saved payment methods with other contacts within the same account. - Set Up Merchant-Initiated ACH and Credit Card Transactions
Configure the Merchant-Submitted Payment component in native payments to securely process ACH and credit card transactions in B2B and D2C Commerce stores on behalf of your customer. Collect and save the payment details from your customer over the phone, via email, or in writing for future transactions. - Merchant Account Record Access and Sharing
Maintain strong data access controls by allowing merchant account access to only relevant users. Different merchant accounts can help organize your business by different regions and currencies. Dividing merchant account ownership limits access, which improves security. Ensuring the right people in each geography have necessary account access helps with issues such as regulatory compliance. To distribute responsibilities, merchant account owners can configure sharing on a per-record basis so payment processing runs smoothly. - Payments Processing for Commerce and Order Management
Salesforce Payments provides payment processing for Salesforce B2B and D2C Commerce and Salesforce Order Management. When Payments is installed on the same Salesforce org as Commerce, Payments is responsible for tokenization and authorizations for payment methods, such as credit cards, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods for purchases. It also offers fraud protection with 3D Secure authentication. When installed on the same org as Salesforce Order Management, Order Management enables payment management of post-order tasks, such as returns and refunds. The integration also aids fulfillment work flows, where Order Management is responsible for capturing funds authorized at checkout. - Payment Page Tamper Detection
To make sure customer payment data is secure, Salesforce Payments complies with the latest PCI standard for detecting changes to Content Security Policy (CSP) headers and scripts. The PCI standard applies to any payment form where customers enter their information, including the checkout page, Pay Now payment pages, and mini carts that include express checkout. - One-Click Checkout for Faster Transactions
Simplify the checkout process at your D2C and Pay Now stores using one-click checkout with passwordless login. Customers save their contact and payment information for future transactions, eliminating the need for passwords. If your store uses managed checkout, one-click checkout is enabled by default. If your store uses custom checkout, you can add a component to enable this feature. Customers can always check out as a guest. - Salesforce Payments Monitoring
You can view payment activity using the Payments Workspace, reports, and event notifications. From the Payments Workspace, view each payment record, and see details such as the payment intent ID, the status, and payment method. To analyze the financial health of your business, use Payments reports. The variety of reports lets people in your company view payment data in the way that's most useful to them. You can customize the reports provided or create your own. Stay informed of Payments operations by subscribing to Payments event notifications. - Stripe Payment Fee Data
To view transaction costs and allow for better payment reporting, access payment fee data from Stripe and bring it into Salesforce or other enterprise systems, such as an ERP or accounting system. You can retrieve fee information for either of the two Salesforce Payments pricing models, blended rate and interchange plus (IC+). Fees are charged differently for each. If you don’t know what pricing model you're on, contact your Salesforce account executive or review your Salesforce contract. - Automate Actions Initiated by Payment Events
Tailor the customer experience by building customized automations that are triggered by payment events. For example, automatically send an email receipt to a customer after a payment is made. - Salesforce Pay Now
Pay Now, powered by Salesforce Payments, is a payment solution that facilitates quick and convenient payments for customers. With Pay Now, you create and share a secure payment link with your customer. Your customer clicks a payment link, is directed to a branded, mobile-responsive web page, and enters their payment information to complete the transaction. You can associate a payment link with any Salesforce object, so you can add a payment service to any business workflow for a revenue opportunity. You can use Pay Now with or without Salesforce Commerce.
