Retrieve Payment Fee Data from Stripe

Retrieve Payment Fee Data from Stripe

You can get payment fee data from the Stripe dashboard, or programmatically by using the Stripe API.

          Required Editions

          1. To get fee data programmatically, contact Salesforce Customer Support and ask them to enable the Stripe API for your Salesforce Payments merchant account. It’s disabled by default. Have your account ID of all your Stripe account numbers available.
Alternatively, you can use the Stripe dashboard.
          2. To access blended rate fees, use one of these options.
            • On the Stripe dashboard, review each payment.
            • On the Stripe dashboard, select Reports | Payout reconciliation. This report shows the payouts you receive and their related payments and other transactions.
            • Using the Stripe API, query the Balance Transaction object for records of type stripe_fee.
          3. To access IC+ fee data, go to the Stripe dashboard, and select Reports. Choose from one of these reports.
            • Payment fees for a specified transaction level
            • Payout reconciliation
            • Network fees

Alternatively, generate a transaction-level report by using the Stripe API. Log in to Stripe as an IC+ user, access the Report Run object and create a card_payments_fees.transaction_level.1 report, which you can then parse to extract the relevant information. For more information about payment fee reports, see Understanding IC+ Fees, and the Stripe Reports API.
