          Stripe Payment Fee Data

          Stripe Payment Fee Data

To view transaction costs and allow for better payment reporting, access payment fee data from Stripe and bring it into Salesforce or other enterprise systems, such as an ERP or accounting system. You can retrieve fee information for either of the two Salesforce Payments pricing models, blended rate and interchange plus (IC+). Fees are charged differently for each. If you don’t know what pricing model you're on, contact your Salesforce account executive or review your Salesforce contract.

For the blended rate pricing model, fees are computed instantly and deducted from the payout. Fees are the same for all card transactions.

For the IC+ pricing, the card networks charge you network fees for each transaction, plus a separate, negotiated Salesforce markup. Network fees are passed on from the card networks, and vary by transaction, so they're not defined in advance, and they're not available on the Stripe dashboard when the transaction is processed. These fees filter in over time, as much as 72 hours later, so the fee amount for each payment and for the Balance Transaction object is always zero.

Only Stripe merchant accounts in production are configured in IC+ mode. Merchant accounts created in sandbox orgs or other non-production environments always operate in blended rate mode. To convert an account to IC+ mode for testing, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
