            Use the Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP) with B2C Commerce Cloud

            Get a single source of truth for Digital 360 data with the Commerce CDP Connector.

            The Commerce CDP Connector connects your B2C Commerce instance to Salesforce CDP. After the connector is configured, you can create data streams through which you control the scope of B2C Commerce data ingestion to Salesforce CDP.

            When: Generally available in October 2021.

            Why: When you connect B2C Commerce Cloud to Salesforce CDP, you can segment cross-cloud data to create unified shopper profiles. In Business Manager, you can use the profiles to create customer groups to direct purposeful and intelligent commerce experiences to registered shoppers.
