            CMS - Configuration and Setup

            Create store associates manually or through a feed in Point of Sale CMS. Add associates so they can view store analytics in the CMS.

            You can create a store associate in the Point of Sale Content Management System (CMS) through manual entry or loading a feed. It is recommended to use the feed if you're creating many associates.

            1. Go to Store Management > Associates > Associates.
            2. (Manual) Select a store and select Add in the top right. Create a store associate using the table below.
            3. (Feed) See Store Associate Feed.
            4. Select Save.
            Important
            Important When a store associate ID has been created, it can't be changed. A new user has to be created and the wrong one deactivated.
            Field Name
            Field Name Required Description
            Active No This marks if an associate is active or not.
            Hire Date No The hire date of the associate.
            Termination Date No The termination date of the associate. The termination date must be after the hire date if both are provided.
            Store Associate ID Yes Create an ID for the store associate.
            Associate Password Yes Create a password for the store associate.
            Confirm Password No Confirm the password of the store associate.
            First Name No Enter the first name of the store associate.
            Last Name No Enter the last name of the store associate.
            Email Address No Enter the email address of the store associate. This is required for this associate to view the store analytics in the CMS.
            Mobile Phone Number No Enter the phone number of the store associate.
            Gender No Enter the gender of the store associate.
            Store ID Yes Select or enter the store ID of the main store where the store associate will work.
            Alternate Store IDs No Select or enter the store IDs of other stores where the store associate will work.
            Profile Image No Upload a profile image of the store associate that is PNG and 80 by 80 pixels.
            Associate Role Yes Select the role of the store associate.
            Associate Pin No Enter a pin for the store associate. It will be used to reset the password. This feature is only applicable if you're using Point of Sale to process transactions.
            Merchant User ID No If you use an external system such as Demandware, enter the external User ID for that system here.
            Merchant Password No Enter the password of the merchant.
            Confirm Password No Confirm the password of the merchant.
            Payment Device Merchant ID No Enter the payment device's merchant ID.
            Payment Device ID No Enter the payment device ID.
