Activation Targets in Data 360
Depending on your use case, data can be activated to various targets, from file storage, external activation, or to other data model objects (DMOs) in Data 360. Once you know where you want to act on the segmented data from Data 360, create activation targets for each platform.
Create Activation Targets
While activation targets have similar implementation steps, some steps can differ. Review the task steps for the specific target you want to create. To learn more specific considerations or troubleshooting steps, review the task steps for the specific target you want to create.
Edit or Delete
Once created, you can edit or delete existing targets. The deletion of an activation target applies to all segments using the activation target.
Enable or Disable
You can also enable or temporarily disable an activation target using the dropdown menu next to an activation target name.

Create an activation target in Data 360 to publish segments and batch data model objects (DMOs) to external file storage activation platforms like Amazon S3, SFTP, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), or Microsoft Azure blob storage. - Create an External Platform Activation Target
To publish segments to your external advertising platforms like Amazon Ads, create an external platform activation target in Data 360. An external platform can have multiple activation targets, but you can attach only one activation target to an external platform account.
