Connect predictive and generative AI models hosted outside Salesforce and use them with Salesforce data to predict future outcomes. Select your data source, define your predictive criteria, and train your model to reveal predictive inferences and insights using AI and machine learning.

• Bring Your Own Model
  Bring Your Own Model (BYOM) lets you connect models built in external platforms with Data 360. BYOM provides direct access to Salesforce data in external ML platforms and uses a zero-copy approach, which eliminates the need to duplicate data. After you connect a model, you can easily consume predictions. Creating, training, and deploying models requires coding expertise for setup in the external platform, but connecting the models to Salesforce is simple.
• Salesforce-Enabled Large Language Models
  Use a Salesforce-enabled foundation model to power your generative AI experiences with Prompt Builder. Some models use geo-aware request routing to accommodate data residency requirements. As a result, the provider can host their model in multiple regions while working within the boundaries of the Einstein Trust Layer.
• Bring Your Own Large Language Model
  The Bring Your Own Large Language Model (BYOLLM) capability enables you to add a foundation model hosted on an external platform and connect it with AI Models (formerly Einstein Studio). You can use the foundation model to create a model configuration to power your generative AI. Evaluate the model’s response to your prompts in Model Playground with different settings before you deploy the model to production.
• Configure and Test a Model in Model Playground
  Create, edit, and evaluate your model configuration in Model Playground without the need for setup or specialized technical expertise. Model Playground uses a trust layer, which ensures data privacy and security.
