Amazon Ads and Amazon Marketing Cloud Insights in Activation
Delve into your customers’ unique characteristics, interests, and behaviors with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) audience insights reporting. When you activate a segment to Amazon Ads AMC, an audience report is generated. The report provides demographic insights on customers who are actively researching products and their affinity groups based on lifestyle, long-term buying habits, and interests.
Report
The report generates scores by comparing targeted users within the segment—the Advertiser Audience—with the broader targeted user population. The scores represent the likelihood of the Advertiser Audience members being part of a specific demographic or behavioral category. The breadth and depth of insights can change based on the unique user impression reach of recent ad campaigns. The more people who see your ads the more insights you get, and the more statistically significant they become.
Users must have been exposed to at least 1 ad on Amazon to be included when calculating the population distributions (which are the inputs to the propensity score). For example, If I've served an ad to 10M unique users in the last 90, then 10M profiles will be available for me to use when running the report.
