Data Cloud One Companion Connection Statuses
Understand the statues that indicate how companion connections are functioning.
Connection Status
Indicates the status of the Data 360 home org's connection to a companion org.
- Connecting—The initial connection is in progress. Check back later to get an updated status.
- Incomplete—The connection was set up, but a data space hasn’t been shared. The connection isn’t activated until a data space is shared.
- Active—The connection is complete and functioning.
- Inactive—The connection is no longer functioning because the Data 360 license on the home org expired or the companion org is no longer active. For example, if the companion org is a trial org that has expired, the connection is inactive. To resolve this status, renew the home org's Data 360 license, reactivate the companion org, or disconnect the companion org.
Initialization Status
The initialization status is specific to a data space shared with a companion org. The status indicates whether the Data 360 home org successfully created a data space on the companion org and completed an initial sync.
- Activating—The initial sync between Data 360 and the companion org is in progress. The initial sync can take some time.
- Active—The initial sync completed successfully.
- Error—An error occurred during the initial sync, so the sync isn’t completed. Create a support ticket for help.
- Removing Sharing—The data space is being removed from the companion org. When you unshare a data space, data in that data space is also removed from the companion org. Removing a data space can take up to 30 minutes.
Metadata Sync Status
Indicates the status of regular metadata syncing between the Data 360 home org and the companion org.
- Error—The last sync failed and metadata syncing is paused. To resume syncing, download the error log and resolve errors. In the case of a metadata conflict, resolve the conflict, and try again.
- In Progress—A sync was in progress when the page loaded.
- Succeeded—The last set of syncs completed successfully.
- Pending—The number of changes to be synced in the next round of syncing.
