Create a Custom Field for a Custom Object in Data Cloud
Add custom fields to your custom objects. You can capture your unique business data by
storing it in custom fields. When you create a custom field, you can configure where you want it
to appear and optionally control security at the field level.
Click Object Manager and select your custom object.
Click Fields & Relationships.
Click New.
Select the field type, then click Next.
Enter the field label and starting number, and then click
Next.
Select the profiles that can access the custom field, and then click
Next.
Select the Dynamic Forms-enabled Lightning record pages that should include the field, then
click Next.
If you don’t have any Dynamic Forms-enabled Lightning record pages for the object, this
step doesn’t appear.
Select the page layouts where you want to add the custom field.
Click Save.
