Create a Data Share Target to Connect with Google BigQuery

Create a Data Share Target to Connect with Google BigQuery

To establish connectivity with a Google BigQuery account, create a data share target in Data 360.

          1. In Data 360, on the Data Shares Target tab, click New.
          2. For the connection type, select Google BigQuery, and click Next.
          3. Enter these details.
            1. For Label, enter a display name up to 20 characters for the data share target.
The API name is auto-populated to match the label name, but you can use a different API name.
            2. For Google Cloud Principal, enter a verified user or group email address.
Each principal has its identifier, which is typically an email address. The principal must be a valid Google Workspace domain.
            3. To connect without authenticating, select the Skip authentication checkbox, or choose a user or group for Type.

For service account based authentication, add your service account to the group and use group-based authentication.

            Note
Note You can’t create multiple data share targets with the same Google Cloud Principal and Type.
          4. Click Save.
            The Google sign-on page appears.
          5. Authenticate the Google Cloud Principal.
You’re redirected to Data 360, and the data share target becomes active.
