          Create a Real-Time Insight Using Builder

          You can create real-time insights with a real-time data graph and related data model objects (DMOs). A related DMO is a DMO not defined in the real-time data graph but can be used as a real-time dimension.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create a real-time insight:

          Permission set:

          • Data Cloud Architect
          1. In Data Cloud, go to the Calculated Insights tab, and click New.
          2. Select the data space your source data graph lives in.
          3. Click Real-Time Insights.
          4. Click Use Visual Builder and click Next.
          5. Click Select an Object.
          6. If your Insight includes currency fields, select the Insight Currency value at the top of the page.
          7. Select a real-time data graph as your input data and click Next.
          8. (Optional) Add a relative time filter to display data based on a period relative to the current date and time.
            1. Select the DateTime field to configure your start time.
            2. Choose the Relative DateTime operator.
            3. Select Interval.
            4. Enter the Interval value. See Define Relative Time-Window Metrics and Working with Nodes in Visual Insight Builder.
          9. Add measures and dimensions to your insight by clicking Aggregate.
            You must select at least one measure.
            1. Under Measures, click +.
            2. Select a metric function and the field that you want to calculate, and then click Next. Only Sum and Count are supported for real-time insights.
            3. Enter the metric name, and click Apply.
            4. Under Dimensions, click +.
            5. Select the field that you want to group by, and click Next.
              To select a related DMO, toggle Show related fields.
            6. Enter the dimension name, and click Apply.
            7. Click Next.
            8. Name the metric and click Apply.
            9. To save the aggregate node, click Apply.
          10. Name the insight. The Insight API Name field is auto-filled. Click Save and Enable.
