Salesforce offers a tiered licensing model for data governance within Data 360, enabling customers to scale from foundational governance to advanced, AI-driven controls. Understand which data governance features are available with which Data Cloud license.
Features Available to All Data 360 Orgs
The following governance features are included at no extra cost with the standard Data Cloud license.

Features Included in Data 360 Dynamic Data Masking
Protect structured data in real time with dynamic masking. These features are only available with an add-on license.

| AI-Assisted Tagging | Identifies sensitive fields for masking using AI for structured data |
| Dynamic Masking | Obfuscates sensitive data in real time based on role or context (for example, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) masking) for structured data |
| Automatic Content Tagging (Beta) | Automatically applies tags to unstructured files based on a configurable confidence threshold. Tags that meet or exceed the threshold are auto-approved, while others require manual review. |
