          Data Graphs

A data graph brings together structured data from your Data Model Objects (DMOs) in Data 360. It combines this data to create easy-to-use views of your information.

Because data in a data graph is preprepared, you can get the information you need in fewer steps. This means your data requests and queries show results almost instantly. Real-time data graphs are crucial for powerful features such as:

To build a data graph, choose the specific fields you want to combine from your existing DMOs. Data 360 then collects and changes these chosen fields into a single, read-only data graph record. This record puts all the combined data into one JSON blob.

You can see your data graphs in Salesforce Lightning Experience using Data Explorer and Query Editor. You can directly query your data graph using the Data 360 Metadata API and Query API. You can also use this combined data in other Salesforce applications and operations.

          • Data Graph Data Structures

          • Billing Considerations for Data Graphs
Using data graphs impacts the consumption of credits used for billing orgs for orgs operating Data 360 under a Data 360 license. For orgs operating Data 360 under a Customer Data Platform license, data graphs use space in your allocated data storage and count toward your aggregate daily limit on queries but don't consume credits.
          • Data Graph Statuses
Use the Last Run Status column for older data graphs to track progress, identify issues, and take action.
          • Build and Manage Data Graphs
Create and manage data graphs in Data 360. You can view a data graph using the Data 360 user interface or an API.
          • Advanced Configuration for Data Graphs
In Data 360, advanced configuration for data graphs allows you to customize the data graph beyond the default settings.
