Enrich Your Org with 360 Data and Insights
Add cleaned and harmonized data from across your organization to your org through Data 360 enrichments. Create related list and copy field enrichments for your record pages with data from Data 360.
You can add information from Data 360 to your Salesforce CRM record pages using enrichments. There are three types of enrichments.
- Related Lists—Related lists show information for DMO objects. DMO objects have a 1-to-many relationship to a Data 360 Individual or Unified Individual object. For example, a contact can have many email engagements. With a related list, you can see all of the email engagements across your enterprise for your contact.
- Direct-DMO Related Lists—Direct-DMO related lists show information from any DMO that's connected to the Salesforce object through a direct relationship. The direct relationship doesn't require identity resolution to be completed for the DMO. For example, a Vehicle object in Automotive Cloud can have a related list of Vehicle Telematics Event DMO records from Data 360.
- Copy Fields—Copy Fields show field data copied from objects with a 1-to-1 relationship to a Data 360 Individual, Unified Individual, Data 360 Account, or Unified Account DMO. CIO objects must have a single Individual ID as the dimension or be a multi-dimensional aggregatable CIO.

Control which users can see a related list enrichment by assigning them to a permission set that has access to the Data Cloud data space. - Delete a Related List Enrichment
Delete a related list enrichment so that data from Data 360 can’t be queried. - Create a Direct-DMO Related List Enrichment
Add information to a Salesforce object related list from a Data Cloud DMO by using a direct relationship between the DMO and the Salesforce object. The direct relationship doesn't require that you complete identity resolution for the DMO. For example, a Vehicle object in Automotive Cloud can have a related list of Vehicle Telematics Event DMO records from Data Cloud. - Delete a Direct-DMO Related List Enrichment
Delete a related list enrichment that's based on a direct relationship between a DMO and a Salesforce object. - Build and Deploy Related List Enrichments from a Data Cloud Sandbox
In a Data Cloud sandbox, build new related list enrichments or modify the existing ones that are automatically generated. After you finish testing your enrichments, package them in a data kit and deploy it to production using change sets. - Create a Copy Field Enrichment
Add information from Data 360 data model objects (DMO) to record pages in your org, so you can show information and interactions from multiple systems, orgs, or business units in a related list. - Delete a Copy Field Enrichment
Delete a copy field enrichment to stop updating your data from Data Cloud. - Copy Field Enrichment Matching
Copy Field enrichments enhance the records in your org by adding data from other data sources. To avoid returning data that isn’t relevant to the records in your org, the enrichment matches data from your org to data in Data Cloud. Step 1: Create a Data Space
You need access to a data space to create enrichments. If you need access to a data space or need one to be created, your Data 360 admin can help. If you have multiple data spaces, it's important to understand which data space includes the information that you want to share for your contact and lead records. For example, if each data space is assigned to a different business unit, you want to select the data space that aligns with your business unit.
- Data Cloud architect—Create a Data Space in Data 360 (10 minutes)
-
Data Cloud architect—Identify the version of data spaces that you’re using, and
assign permissions.
You can check that you have the right permissions by opening Setup and looking for Data 360 Related Lists and Data 360 Copy Fields in the menu. If you can see these items, you can create enrichments.
Step 2: Create a Unified Individual or Unified Account and Calculated Insights
You must have a Unified Individual or Individual DMO to create a related list. You must have a Unified Individual DMO or a calculated insight object to create a copy field enrichment. Any data that you want to use in your org must be associated with a Unified Individual.
- Data Cloud architect—Unify Source Profiles (Time to complete depends on the number of records to be processed)
- Data Cloud architect—Create Calculated Insights (5 minutes per insight)
Step 3: Configure Integration User Field Permissions for Copy Fields
You must have fields in your org to copy data into. If you don’t want to overwrite existing data or you don’t have an existing field, you must create a field. Before starting this task, make sure that you created all the fields that you want to copy into. A Salesforce admin for your org must set integration permissions for all fields. This task takes about 5 minutes, unless you have a large number of fields that you want to copy.
-
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and
then open Customer 360 Data Platform Integration.
Note At least one data action and data action target must exist for this permission set to be visible. If you can't find the permission set, create an enrichment and return to this task.
-
In the Find Settings box, enter the name of the object that you want, and select it
from the list. Click Edit, and scroll to the Object Permissions
section.
Note For more information about the supported objects for copy fields, see Enrichment Considerations.
-
Set the object permissions.
- For all objects except products, in the Object Permissions section, click Edit, and then select Read, Edit, Delete, View All Records, and Modify All Records.
- If you added object permissions for orders, also add these permissions for contracts: Read and View All Records.
- For products, the object permissions don't include Modify All Records and View All Records. In the Object Permissions section, click Edit, and then select Read, Edit, and Delete.
- For all objects, set the field permissions. In the Field Permissions section, select Edit Access for the fields that you want to copy in Field Permissions.
- Save your changes.
-
For ideas, price books, article types, and products, update the sharing rule settings
to public read/write. For more information about sharing rule settings, see Organization-Wide Sharing Defaults in Salesforce
Help.
- In the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings, and then click Sharing Settings.
- In Organization-Wide Sharing Defaults, click Edit.
- For your object, select Public Read/Write in the Default Internal Access column.
- Save your changes.
Step 4: Configure Enrichments
Configure enrichments in Setup and automatically add them to your page layout.
- Org admin—Create a Related List Enrichment (15 minutes)
-
Org admin—Create a Copy Field
Enrichment (15 minutes)
If you’re overwriting data in existing fields, create a record triggered workflow to make sure that data entered into the field is ingested before it’s overwritten.
Step 5: Customize Your Page Layout
