          Real-Time Identity Resolution

          Real-Time Identity Resolution

Real-time identity resolution identifies customers in milliseconds so you can personalize your site or communications during an engagement.

Real-time identity resolution is performed by comparing profile information for an active user with existing profiles using the rules in an existing ruleset. To designate a ruleset for real-time identity resolution, use its output as the input for a real-time data graph.

If you use a ruleset for real-time identity resolution, all match rule criteria will be run using exact or exact normalized match methods, even if you selected a different match method when configuring the ruleset.

Profile information that’s received for real-time identity resolution is also stored and unified to a profile during the next scheduled ruleset run using your selected match method. Unifying real-time identity information via the scheduled ruleset run to ensure your unified profiles contain the most complete and updated information about your customers.
