Migrate Users from a Customer Data Platform License to a Data Cloud License
When you add a Data Cloud license to an org that was previously operating Data 360 under a Customer Data Platform license, the permission sets granted by
the Customer Data Platform license no longer grants access to Data 360. To
provide users continued access to Data 360, you must assign the permission
sets associated with the Data Cloud license to your users.
Required Editions
User Permissions Needed
To assign permission sets:
Assign Permission Sets
AND
View Setup and Configuration
Identify which Data Cloud permission sets are associated with the Data Cloud
license.
Optionally, customize the standard permission sets granted by the Data Cloud license or
create custom permission sets from them.
Assign the permission sets granted by the Data Cloud license to users.
To automate the process, use User Access Policies to migrate permission sets
for groups of users.
Remove the permission sets granted by the Customer Data Platform license.
