Salesforce CRM Connector
A standard Salesforce CRM connection establishes a connection between Data 360 and a Salesforce org, allowing Data 360 to ingest data from the connected org. Data 360 ingests data and sends back only data actions. This type of connection doesn’t share any data back to the connected org.
You can also use a starter data bundle to create data streams in Data 360. The bundle maps the data source objects to the data model objects (DMO) and establishes DMO relationships that improve your segmentation results.
You can set up a standard CRM connection only to orgs other than Data 360's home org. An org can be connected to multiple Data 360s via standard CRM connections, allowing multiple Data 360s to ingest the org's data.
- Set Up a CRM Salesforce Org Connection
A data source and data action target are automatically created for the org where you set up Data 360. To connect other Salesforce orgs, you must manually set up a connection. - Salesforce CRM Permissions
When you connect to an org, the Data 360 Salesforce Connector permission set is created to allow access to Data 360 objects and fields. You can edit the Data 360 Salesforce Connector permission set to meet your organization’s needs. - Salesforce CRM Connection Considerations
