Set Up a Microsoft Azure Target Connection
After you create your Data 360 instance, you can set up a Microsoft Azure Blob Storage Connection.

Complete the prerequisites:
- Get a Microsoft Azure Storage account with these key settings.
- Public Access Level: Private
- Provision at least one Account key
- Get a container to which you want to transfer data
- Anonymous access level: Private
- Set up container SAS (Shared Access Signature) token. For more information, see Create a Microsoft Azure Container SAS Token.
If you have restricted access to your storage service, make sure the Microsoft Azure Storage Service Connection has access to your storage service. Add the IP source addresses listed in the AWS ID IP Table section in IP Addresses Used by Data Cloud Services to the allowlist.
- In Data 360, select Data Cloud Setup.
- Under External Integrations, select Other Connectors.
- Click New, and click Target.
- Select Microsoft Azure Storage, and click Next.

Enter a connection name, connection API name, authentication details: SAS token and
connection details: container URL and container path.
SAS token Shared Access Signature (SAS) token that grants access to storage resources in a storage account or container Container URL URL to access Azure storage container. You can get the container URL from the container properties in your storage account.
Example: https://{storage account name}.blob.core.windows.net/{container name}
Container Path Container path refers to the directory in a file system and similar to the parent directory in other connectors. The container path is where you want to activate files. The container path must include only the directory name and not the container name.
Important It’s recommended to use a different container path for source and target connection. - To review your configuration, click Test Connection.
- Click Save.
- Create a Microsoft Azure Container SAS Token
Container Shared Access Signature (SAS) tokens give access to files in your Microsoft Azure Storage container.
