          Set Up a Snowflake Federation Connection for Private Connect

          Set up a connection between Snowflake and Private Connect for Data Cloud to access the data.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create a Snowflake Data Federation connection in Data Cloud.

          System admin profile OR

          Data Cloud Architect

          Before you begin, you must configure a network route to create a connection to Snowflake.

          1. In Data Cloud, go to Data Cloud Setup.
          2. Under External Integrations, select Snowflake.
          3. Click New.
          4. Enter a connection name and connection API name.
          5. Click Use Private Network Route.
          6. Select the private network route for the Snowflake instance. The list of routes are only for private network routes to Snowflake.
          7. Enter the username for the Snowflake account.
          8. Enter the private key details.
          9. Click Next.
          10. Select a database, and click Save.
