            Content Harmonization Known Limitations

            Certain functionalities aren't available for content harmonization. Keep these limitations in mind while harmonizing content and viewing it on the Content Viewer.

            Required Editions

            Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.

            Harmonization Process:

            • See Unstructured Data File Formats and Connectors for a list of supported file types and sizes for unstructured data.
            • The harmonization pipeline currently skips files that fail to harmonize, but still indexes these files for search.
            • The harmonization process doesn’t yet automatically generate a table of contents; file-splitting isn’t available yet.
            • The harmonization process currently doesn’t retain document styling.
            • You can’t currently view real-time progress or status of harmonization processing.

            Content Viewer Experience:

            • The Content Viewer doesn’t currently convert PDF files into HTML. It displays them using the built-in PDF viewer.
            • Non-PDF files that aren’t harmonized automatically open in the original source view.
            • The Content Viewer reformates the harmonized output into a consistent, unified style, discarding the unique styling of the original source.
