Chatter Desktop

Control access to Chatter Desktop and install and configure the Chatter Desktop Managed Version.

• Control Access to Chatter Desktop
  Chatter Desktop is enabled for most organizations, but administrators can control access to Chatter Desktop.
• Install Chatter Desktop Managed Version
  Salesforce provides two Chatter Desktop installers: a standard version for individual installations and a managed version for enterprise deployments.
• Configure Chatter Desktop Managed Version
  Control Chatter Desktop settings by deploying an XML-based configuration file to each user's machine. The configuration in the file overrides the user's settings.
