Change your Chatter feed to show a subset of posts.

          Required Editions

Available in: Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience
Available in: Group, Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, Developer, and Contact Manager Editions

The landing feed on the Chatter home page is shown when a user navigates to the page, returns to it, or refreshes it. For most people, the landing feed is a form of the What I Follow. However, in Lightning Experience, if a user is following fewer than 10 things, their default feed is a form of Company Highlights. With Company Highlights as their landing feed, new users have a chance to see the most active conversations in their company. Seeing what’s most active can inspire ideas about more things to follow. When a user follows more than 10 things, the default feed changes to What I Follow.

          Note
Note On most feeds, filters are sticky. That is, they persist until you change them. The landing feed is the exception. For the landing feed, your filter selection doesn’t persist when you leave the Chatter tab and then return to it. But the landing feed differs from the feed that you see when you specifically choose What I Follow or Company Highlights. The actual What I Follow and Company Highlights feeds have sticky filters: For example, apply a filter like All Updates on What I Follow, then navigate away. When you return to What I Follow, the All Updates filter still applies.

Use the feed selections on the left sidebar of the Chatter home page to view a subset of posts in your feed. For example, view only posts that mention you, or posts that you bookmarked, or the top posts in your company.

          • To see available feeds in the left column of the page, click the Chatter tab.
          • To limit what’s shown in the feed to a subset of posts, click a feed that’s listed in the left column.
            • What I Follow

Shows updates for everything you follow, including posts from people you follow, groups you are a member of, and files and records you're following. Users who follow a record, see those updates in their view of What I Follow, with one exception. Feed-tracked changes that users make themselves aren’t posted to What I Follow. Use the sorting and filtering options at the top of your feed to further narrow the subset of posts.

            • To Me

Shows the posts on your profile page, including:

              • Posts others make on your profile page
              • Posts and comments where you have been mentioned
              • Any of your posts that have comments
            • Bookmarked

Shows the posts that you’ve bookmarked.

            • Muted (Salesforce Classic)

Shows all the posts that you’ve muted. You can unmute a post here.

            • All Company (Salesforce Classic)

Shows posts and comments from your entire company, including posts and comments from:

              • People in your company
              • Public groups
              • Private groups you’re a member of
              • Feed tracked changes for records and fields and system-generated posts, provided someone has liked or commented on the post. You must have access to the record to see the post.
            • Company Highlights (Lightning Experience)

Shows the most popular and actively discussed posts across the company, based on engagement metrics like views, likes, and comments. Determine whether posts appear on the Company Highlights Panel by updating the feed tracking settings in your salesforce org and user access permissions on the record level.

            • My Drafts (Lightning Experience)

Shows posts that you’re in the process of writing but haven’t posted yet. Draft posts are saved automatically to My Drafts after seven seconds. They are removed from My Drafts when you post them.
