Users with the Modify All Data permission can perform all actions on all private and public groups. Users with the View All Data permission can view details of all private and public groups, regardless of membership.
In unlisted groups:
- Users with the Manage Unlisted Groups permission can perform all of these actions in unlisted groups, even if they aren’t members.
- Users with the Modify All Data or View All Data permission can find and access unlisted groups only if they are members. Unlike public and private groups, users with the Modify All Data permission can’t perform group owner actions in unlisted groups. If the Modify All Data user has the group manager role in the unlisted group, then they can perform group manager actions.
- Change Chatter Group Roles
In Salesforce Classic, you can change group roles for the groups that you own or manage.
