Use public, private, or unlisted Chatter groups to collaborate with specific people in your company.

If you're working on a team, you can create a group for your team to share mission-related files and information. Share information through the group feed. - Unlisted Groups
Unlisted groups offer more privacy compared to private groups. Only group members and users with the Manage Unlisted Groups permission can access unlisted groups in list views, feeds, and search results. - Seen-By Information in Private and Unlisted Groups
Posts in private and unlisted Chatter groups have a seen-by count that shows the number of people who have seen a post. Click the count to see the names of people who have seen the post. - Broadcast Groups
Broadcast groups are a special type of public, private, or unlisted group where only group owners and managers can post to the group. Group members can read posts and comment on them. - Filter Group Feeds
