          • View Setup and Configuration AND be a member of the site AND have appropriate role-based site access
          Note
Note You can select a Visualforce page as your custom Forgot Password or Reset Password page for Aura sites only. If you used a Visualforce page as your custom Forgot Password or Reset Password page for an LWR site before Summer ’23, the site still uses the Visualforce page. However, if you change the LWR site’s Forgot Password or Reset Password page to another page type, you can’t go back to using the Visualforce page.

To use a custom Experience Builder Forgot Password page, first publish your login page in Experience Builder.

For your Forgot Password Page, you can select from these page types.

          • Default Page—A simple page with basic styling that serves as a starting point for your customizations.
          • Experience Builder Page—Use the Experience Builder design tool to quickly create a page that matches your company's theme. To access the Experience Builder Page, you must first publish your site.
          • Visualforce Page—Use a custom Visualforce page.

For your Reset Password Page, you can use a Default Page or a custom Visualforce Page. Experience Builder Pages aren't supported.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter All Sites, and then select All Sites
          2. Next to your site name, click Workspaces.
          3. Select Administration, and then select Login & Registration.
          4. Under Password Pages, for Forgot Password, select a page type.
            • To use the Default Page, select Default Page.
            • To use the Experience Builder Page, select Experience Builder Page, then click Lookup magnifying glass icon and select Forgot Password.
            • To use a custom Visualforce Page, select Visualforce Page, then click Lookup magnifying glass icon and select a Visualforce page.
          5. For Reset Password, select a page type.

          7. To view your changes, open your site URL in a private (incognito) browser and click the Forgot Password link, then follow the prompts to reset your password.
