            OR

          • View Setup and Configuration AND be a member of the site AND have appropriate role-based site access

To use these settings, Chatter must be enabled in your org.

          2. Click Administration | Preferences.
          3. Change the desire settings and then save your changes.
          • General

            • Show nicknames instead of full names in your site. Enabling nickname display allows more privacy and protects member identities. This protection is especially helpful in a public site where unregistered visitors can access member profiles.
            • Enable Chatter messages, which let members have secure private conversations with other Chatter users. To expose Chatter messages for external users, administrators must also enable the Chatter tab in sites using the Salesforce Tabs + Visualforce template.
            • Enable direct messages, which allows members to have secure private conversations in sites built using the Customer Service template.
            • Optimize cached images for guest users on all devices. Resize images for faster loading on all devices. This feature is available when you use Salesforce's CDN for Digital Experiences.
            • Let guest users view asset files and CMS content available to the site. Asset files include images associated with topics, recognition badges, site branding, and account branding. If public access is enabled in Experience Builder at the page or site level, this preference is automatically enabled. To ensure that guest users can view CMS collections on your LWR site’s public pages, also enable Allow guest users to access public APIs.
            • Use custom Visualforce error pages, if you want authenticated users to see your custom branded Visualforce error pages.
            • Show all settings in Workspaces that are hidden by default based on how you set up your site. Enabling this setting overrides the dynamic navigation provided in Experience Workspaces.
          • Experience Management

            • Allow members to flag posts, comments, or files for moderation. Members can flag items that contain inappropriate language or sensitive information.
            • Enable Upvotes and Downvotes to allow members to participate in evaluating the worth of a question or answer. Up and down voting is enabled by default in sites created as of Winter ’18 and later.
            • Enable Reputation to allow community managers to set up a point system that rewards users who participate in the site. Administrators set up corresponding reputation levels that users see on their profile.
            • Enable knowledgeable people so you can discover who's knowledgeable on topics and endorse people for their knowledge on a topic.
          • Files

            • Set the maximum size in MB for uploaded files.
            • Specify the types of files that can be uploaded.
            Note
Note Salesforce doesn't support downloads for files that are larger than 2 GB.

These additional optional features can be found in Setup and other areas of Experience Workspaces.
