To get a complete view of your patients’ health, add major events that shape their
journey. If the default event types don’t address your needs, you can create additional event
types, such as job loss, divorce, or chronic stress. You can also mark certain events as unique,
and deactivate or reactivate the event types according to your need.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health
Cloud
Health Cloud offers the following event types: Birth, Graduation, Job, Marriage,
Relocation, Car, Home, Baby, Diagnosis, Retirement. To add more event types, you can add new
event type picklist values.
Some event types, like birth, occur only once in a lifetime. To
prevent users from accidentally creating more than one event of such an event type, mark the
event type as unique. You can also deactivate event types that you don’t need, or reactivate
inactive event types when needed.
From the object management settings for Person Life Event, go to Fields
& Relationships.
Select Event Type.
Under Event Type Picklist Values, click New, and then add the
new event types.
Save your changes.
If you want to disable an active event type, click Deactivate
next to the value that you want to deactivate.
To activate an inactive event type, under Inactive Values, click
Activate next to the value.
To capture a once-in-a-lifetime event, click Edit next to the
value that you want to mark as unique, and select the checkbox for Unique. Save your
changes.
