          Automotive Cloud Calculated Insights

          The Automotive Data Kit contains predefined calculated insights that help automotive companies analyze the data related to customer satisfaction, vehicle and parts sales, and customer lifetime value. The calculated insights are multidimensional metrics created by using complex calculations and logic on the entire digital state in Data Cloud. The insights are automatically recalculated when the base data changes and companies can act on the insights in near real time.

          • Calculated Insight: Vehicle Lifetime Value
            The Vehicle Lifetime Value calculated insight aggregates the lifetime revenue generated from all sales and service activities for a specific vehicle. The lifetime value of a vehicle includes the sales and service activities of the original equipment manufacturer and the dealerships.
          • Calculated Insight: Count Of Open Cases By Vehicle
            The Count Of Open Cases By Vehicle calculated insight aggregates the number of open customer cases for a specific vehicle and groups them by year, quarter, and month. The insight considers unresolved cases and provides an understanding of customer case resolution.
          • Calculated Insight: Count Of Total Cases By Vehicle
            The Count Of Total Cases By Vehicle calculated insight aggregates the number of customer cases for a specific vehicle, and groups the cases by year, quarter, and month. The insight considers cases in all statuses and provides an overall understanding of customer satisfaction.
          • Calculated Insight: Customer Lifetime Value
            The Customer Lifetime Value calculated insight aggregates the lifetime revenue generated from the sale of vehicles, services, parts, and accessories for a specific customer. The lifetime value of a customer includes the purchase of vehicles, parts, subscriptions, and accessories from the original equipment manufacturer and from dealerships. The insight also considers the order value from repair and maintenance of vehicles and parts.
          • Calculated Insight: Vehicle Revenue From Dealer Sales
            The Vehicle Revenue From Dealer Sales calculated insight aggregates the lifetime revenue generated for a specific vehicle by all dealerships. The vehicle revenue from dealer sales considers the approved claim amount for all dealers who sold and resold a specific vehicle.
          • Calculated Insight: Vehicle Revenue From Direct Sales
            The Vehicle Revenue From Direct Sales calculated insight aggregates the lifetime revenue generated for a specific vehicle by the original equipment manufacturer. The vehicle revenue from direct sales considers the sales orders for a specific vehicle.
          • Calculated Insight: Vehicle Revenue From Parts Sales
            The Vehicle Revenue From Parts Sales calculated insight aggregates the lifetime revenue generated from the sale of parts and accessories for a specific vehicle. The vehicle revenue from parts sales considers the spare parts and accessories sold by the original equipment manufacturer and the dealerships.
          • Calculated Insight: Vehicle Revenue From Repair Orders
            The Vehicle Revenue From Repair Orders calculated insight aggregates the lifetime revenue generated from services, repairs, and maintenance activities for a specific vehicle. The vehicle revenue from repair orders considers the services done by both the original equipment manufacturer and the dealerships.
          • Calculated Insight: Vehicle Sales Detail
            The Vehicle Sales Detail calculated insight aggregates the direct revenue, dealer revenue, parts revenue, and service revenue for each customer and vehicle combination. This calculated insight aggregates information from the Vehicle Revenue from Dealer Sales, Vehicle Revenue from Direct Sales, Vehicle Sales from Parts Sales, and Vehicle Sales from Repair Order insights. The result is grouped by customer and vehicle.
