            Manage the lifecycle of assets and vehicle to effectively serve your customer needs. Use the vehicle console in Automotive Cloud and get information about vehicle details, stakeholder relationships, installed and compatible parts and accessories and asset relationships. You can also use the asset console to view warranties, claims, repair orders, and other activities. Understand how assets and vehicles are connected and learn how to promptly answer dealer and customer queries from the comprehensive vehicle and asset record pages.

            • How Assets and Vehicles Are Related in Automotive Cloud
              An asset is either a physical item that you sell or it’s something that you install as part of another item. Each vehicle finally sold to a customer is an asset in Automotive Cloud. Likewise, all the parts and accessories that are finally installed in vehicles or sold as spares to customers are also assets. With asset-level information, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and dealers can get complete visibility into a vehicle, its associated parts, and accessories.
            • Create Assets to Model Vehicles and Parts
              Track the lifecycle of each asset right from production to retirement with Asset records in Automotive Cloud. You can create assets to represent the vehicles as well as the parts and accessories that you sell to customers. Capture key details such as the related account, product, and contact, purchase and installation dates, and quantity and price of the asset.
            • Explore the Asset Console in Automotive Cloud
              Use the asset console to stay on top of changes related to an asset, track its major milestones, and capture key details. While the vehicle console is designed specifically for vehicles, the asset console is useful for all types of assets, including parts and accessories.
            • Explore the Vehicle Console in Automotive Cloud
              Get a comprehensive view of a vehicle in Automotive Cloud and track its history, health, and activities. Service agents and sales managers can find all details about a vehicle, view the related assets, milestones, events, and relationships, and schedule service appointments right from the Vehicle record page.
            • Manage Fleets in Automotive Cloud
              When an automotive company or a dealership sells or leases a fleet of vehicles to a customer, they must regularly monitor the fleet’s activities. You can model fleets of vehicles or other assets in Automotive Cloud, and you can add multiple participants to a fleet. You can also create action plans and record alerts to effectively manage the acquisition, servicing, and maintenance processes for your fleets.
