Details, and Claim Participants:
Warranty Supplier Recovery for Experience Cloud permission set
OEM admins create an Experience Cloud site for suppliers to adjudicate supplier recovery
claims. They create a list view of claims with Supplier Recovery Claim value for the Claim Type
Code and list the permitted statuses for the Status field.
Make sure that your admin adds the relevant fields to the page layouts for the supplier
recovery claim objects. Also, check whether you have the required field-level permissions.
Review and adjudicate a supplier recovery claim.
Log in to your Automotive Experience Cloud site.
Find and select Claims from the navigation menu.
From the list view, open the claim record of the type Supplier Recovery Claim that you want
to review and adjudicate.
Review the related claim information in the claim item, claim coverage, and claim coverage
payment detail records.
Adjudicate the claim and specify the adjusted amount for each of the claim coverage payment
detail records.
Update the claim to the relevant status, and save your changes.
Example
Jiyoo Group, a supplier, has received two supplier recovery claims from Neo Motors, an
automotive OEM, for the Neo Sedan NXi vehicle. The claims adjudicator at Jiyoo Group logs in to
their experience cloud site to review and adjudicate the claims.
One supplier recovery claim has Neo Battery as the causal part with a claim coverage called
"Overheating Battery."
The other supplier recovery claim has Neo Spark Plug as the causal part with a claim
coverage called "Defective Spark Plug."
For Overheating Battery, there's one claim coverage payment detail record of the Replaced Part
charge type. The replacement part is Neo Battery, with a quantity of one and a claimed amount of
US$2,000. The claims adjudicator specifies $1,750 as the adjusted amount. So, the total adjusted
amount for this supplier recovery claim is $1,750.
For Defective Spark Plug, there are two claim coverage payment detail records.
The first claim coverage payment detail record is of the Replaced Part charge type. The
replacement part is Neo Spark Plug, with a quantity of one and a claimed amount of $800. The
claim adjudicator specifies $750 as the adjusted amount.
The second claim coverage payment detail record is of the Expense charge type. The claimed
amount is $100. The claim adjudicator specifies $50 as the adjusted amount.
So, the total adjusted amount for this supplier recovery claim is $800.
The claims adjudicator goes back to the claim records to review the final rolled-up adjusted
amounts. Then, the claims adjudicator updates the status to Approved for
both the claims and saves the changes.
