Automatic Upgrades

Starting Spring '23, we're moving our Communications, Media, and Energy managed packages to the Salesforce automatic upgrade process. Through this process, we align with the Salesforce seasonal release cycle, where new features are delivered three times a year (Summer, Winter, and Spring). With automatic upgrades, you can opt in to effortlessly upgrade your sandbox and production environments, preview new releases in your sandbox, and always stay on the latest release. You're also provided early access to upcoming releases in your sandbox preview environment so that you can complete internal testing before pushing to production.

Where: This feature is available starting Spring '23. Starting Spring '24, you must use this feature to upgrade your org.

Who: All Communication, Media, and Energy licenses.

How: First, upgrade your orgs to Energy and Utilities Spring '23. Then opt in to receive automatic upgrades to the Communications, Media, and Energy managed packages for upcoming releases.
