After invoices are generated, generate PDF documents for a batch of invoices or a single invoice.

Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Revenue Cloud Billing license. Contact your Salesforce account executive for more information.

Default Document Template to Generate Invoice PDF Documents
After your Billing admin turns on Document Generation for Billing, immediately generate bulk PDF documents for invoices by using the default document template that's preselected.
Generate a Batch of Invoice PDF Documents
After a batch of draft or posted invoices are generated by an invoice batch run, generate PDF documents for those invoices.
Assign an Invoice Document Template to a Billing Profile
Configure a custom invoice document template to use for account-specific invoice document generation.
Generate Invoice PDF Documents Specific to Billing Profiles
Generate a PDF document for an invoice directly from the invoice record. Provide billing profile specific individual invoice documents without waiting for invoice batch runs.
Generate a Single Invoice PDF Document by Using Flow, Apex, and Omniscript
Generate a PDF document for an invoice that's generated from an Account or Order record page, or that's generated by using the Invoice Creation API.
Generate Invoice PDFs with Your Company Logo
Automatically add your company logo to the invoice PDF documents by installing Omnistudio packages and uploading the logo to your Salesforce org.
Generated Invoice PDF Document Details
When you click Generate Invoice Documents or Generate Invoice Document, the action is triggered to create a Document Generation Batch Process or Document Generation Process record with a status of In Progress. Once the status changes to Success, it means the invoice PDF document has been generated.
