Set Up the Consumer Goods Cloud Offline Mobile App
Field reps use Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app to record data while executing visits, even when they’re offline. You can customize the app by using Visual Studio based Modeler for Consumer Goods Cloud. Use the Sync Management app to configure how data gets synced with Salesforce.

From Spring’24, the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app comes integrated with a default Consumer Goods Cloud connected app. For new users, after you download the CG Cloud offline mobile app from App Store or Play Store, open the app and log in with your credentials to use the app. When existing users upgrade their CG Cloud offline mobile app to Spring’24 or later, the mobile app automatically switches to the default CG Cloud connected app. You can install the CG Cloud connected app in your org and configure its security policies to let your field reps use the CG Cloud connected app. If your company prefers to continue using the company-specific or custom connected app set up in Winter’24 or earlier, share the QR code of the custom connected app with the mobile app users to relaunch the mobile app and log in. Similarly, if your company prefers to use a custom connected app in Spring’24 or later, create a custom org and share its QR code with the field reps to use it for launching the mobile app.
