Distance Unit Defines the unit of measurement, for example, kilometers or miles, for geolocation distance. You can also define the distance in decimals. For example, 0.1 miles. Sales Organization Identification
Geolocation Distance Specifies the acceptable geolocation range within which users can start or complete a visit. Sales Organization Identification
          • All fields in Sales Organisation are usually cached on the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app. To consider the modified values for Geolocation Distance on the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app, users must restart the mobile app.
          • If Geofence Distance is left blank, the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app considers the Geofence Distance as 0. In such cases, when Geofence Distance is 0 and ‌geofencing validation is set to Error, the user must be in the exact store location.
          Validate Geolocation
Start Visit Geolocation Validation Determines the type of geolocation validation when a user starts a visit. Based on the validation options (None, Error, or Warning), the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app triggers a response for the user. The validation is based on a comparison between the user’s GPS location and the store’s location. Visit Template Visit Start related

The validation options control how strictly ‌geolocation validation is enforced.

          • None: No geolocation validation is applied. Users can start or finish visits from any place. This option retains the current behavior where geolocation validation isn’t enforced.
          • Error: Users can start or complete the visit only if they’re physically present within the geofence range of the store. If they're outside the range, an error message prevents them from continuing the visit. The only exception is when the GPS coordinates in the account are missing. If the coordinates are missing, the app handles this situation as a warning.
          • Warning: The app informs users if they’re outside the specified geofence range but can still start or complete a visit. The option works when the user’s mobile device location is wrong or unavailable. The location can be unavailable when location services aren’t turned on, when users don't have a signal, or when the store doesn’t have GPS coordinates. If the user starts or completes the visit outside the range, the app enables the Visit Start Outside Range or Visit Completed Outside Range fields in the Visit object.
End Visit Geolocation Validation Determines the geolocation validation type when a user completes a visit. Based on the validation type (None, Error, or Warning), the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app triggers a response for the user. The validation is based on a comparison between the user’s GPS location and the store’s location. Visit Template Visit Start related
