            Manage Visits

            Create customer-related visits by using the Consumer Good Cloud Offline mobile app. You can also create visits that aren't customer-related. For example, you can create a private appointment or a vacation.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled

            • Manually Plan Visits for Customers
              Manually plan visits for customers that you currently manage.
            • Create Visits from Job Lists
              Plan visits based on predefined job lists. You can create visits from job lists only in Weekly view.
            • Automatic Visit Planning
              Plan automatic visits based on visit frequency.
            • Trip List-Based Visit Planning
              Use trip lists to plan visits based on a predefined sequence of customers. You can also use trip lists to create visits for the same customers in the same sequence on a regular basis. You can plan trip list-based visits for a specific day or week.
            • Create Map-Based Visits
              Visualize customers on a map and ‌plan visits for them by applying predefined filters and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure their store's performance. You can even use ‌map-based visits to view and create visits for stores within a certain distance of your location.
            • Select a Default Visit Type
              Select a default visit type to create visits so that each time a user plans a visit, the system creates a visit by using this template.
            • Create Visits by Using Barcode Scan
              Add a customer by scanning a barcode. You can then use this customer to create visits.
            • Create Visits
              To accommodate impromptu customer requests, create visits from both daily and weekly calendar views.
            • Edit a Visit
              You can edit the special instructions, the status remarks, and the priority of a visit.
