          For all promotions:

          • If the Included option is selected for a tactic, then system shows the promotion in the Promotion filter and on the Promotions tab.
          • If the Included option is selected for a tactic product, then system shows the promoted products in the disposal list.
          Note
Note You can use Advanced Promotions only on Consumer Goods Cloud Offline Mobile app.

During promotional order execution, the system shows the promotional filter in the order. If the Consider Selectable Promotion option is selected in the order template, sales reps can select a promotion and order the products related to the selected promotion. This filter is shown in the header of the order item screen with the list of all relevant promotions in all relevant order subtabs.

The promotions that appear in this filter must have the Selectable Promotions option selected in the promotion template. The system sorts all relevant selectable promotions based on the slogan text in alphabetical order. The selectable promotions are relevant if they are:

          • Active and valid on the current date.
          • In Committed state.
          • Assigned to the order customer.

If the First Promotion option is configured in the order template, then the system selects the first promotion by default in the order.

The promotion filter isn’t shown for:

          • Non-promotional orders
          • Released or Canceled orders
          • No selectable promotions exist for the customer on the current date

When you open an order in Clear Filter view and then select a line item that's added through a selectable promotion, the system shows the related selectable promotion information in the details section. When a promotion is selected in this filter, the system shows a promotion banner that's related to the selected promotion. The system doesn't show the promotion banner isn’t displayed in these scenarios:

          • Banner isn't maintained for the selected promotion.
          • Order is executed on a mobile device.
          • Non-promotional orders.
          • Released or canceled orders

You can narrow the search for products in the order disposal list by using additional filters. These filters are applied additionally over the active filters and don’t change the existing filter settings for an order. The filters are:

          • Register Filter: For a promotion selected in the promotion filter, the system groups the related tactic products and shows them in alphabetical order of the group name. Products without a group name are grouped as Misc and free items are grouped as Free. The system sorts the products within the group in alphabetical order of the product description. To filter the order disposal list, select the relevant register value from the list.
          • Category Filter: Search for products based on the product category for promotional orders in the order disposal list. To filter the order disposal list based on the product category, select the relevant category from the list.

A special order is a promotional order that's configured to use special promotions. Every special order promotion is a selectable promotion, but not vice versa. If an order template is configured to be a special order, then the system shows the promotion filter in the order based on these criteria.

While taking an order, sales reps can select a promotion from the promotion filter. Depending on their selection, the system shows the products as a list. Sales reps can select multiple promotions for an order and order promoted or non-promoted products in the same order.

If a product line item is part of the selected special promotion, then the system shows the suggested quantity for the product.

          • Promotional Pricing
Configure a selectable promotion within a promotional order to make the order eligible for promotional pricing. To apply promotional pricing, the system assigns various reward groups to selectable promotions.
          • Components of Selectable Promotional Order
The components that are involved in a selectable promotion are promotion expressions, hurdles, reward groups, and rewards.
          • Free Item Rewards
You can select different products or quantity for free. When you tap a free item, the system shows a list of products that you can add as a free item.
          • Special Rewards
With special rewards or manual rewards, you can easily offer the required rewards to a customer. Special rewards are different than regular rewards because they don't apply values to an order through a condition template. These rewards use the values that a user exit function, which you configured for a reward, returns.
          • Applicability of Rewards
A reward is applicable or selectable when either parent reward groups or linked hurdles are satisfied.
          • Apply Rewards
Based on the achieved hurdles, you can offer rewards for a promotion.
