Batch Processing

To fulfill business processes, run the batch processes available with the Consumer Good Cloud managed package. These batch processes require that the master data be loaded into the system. You can run a batch job manually, and you can use the settings to customize the process.

• Schedule an Apex Batch Process
  Use the Salesforce Org to schedule Apex batch processes at intervals that work for your business.
• Configure the Batch Size for a Scheduled Apex Class
  For improved performance, you can limit the batch size of the Apex batch process.
• Schedule a Processing Services Batch
  To recalculate data, schedule a Processing Services batch process to run on a particular day and time.
• Run an Apex Batch Process Manually
  If you can’t wait for a scheduled Apex batch process to run at the scheduled time, you can run the batch process manually.
• Consumer Goods Cloud Batch Processes
  Batch processes condense data for faster consumption within the mobile app, sync engine, or database.
