Add Products to a Product Assortment
To create an authorization list, add products to an assortment.
Required Editions

- From App Launcher, find and open Product Assortments.
- Select an assortment.
- In the Products related list, click Add.

Search and select one or more products.
Search products by using an option:
- From the Lookup section:
- To search by product name, select Name.
- To search by using fields of the product object, select All Fields, enter the search string, and then click Go.
- Set filters in the Products section:
Filter Criteria Description Description 1 Product description. Product Name Name of the product. GTIN Global trade item number of the product. Product Type Product type. The options are:
- Commodity
- Service
- Advertising
- Empty
- Asset Type
- Counting Group
Product Level Product level used for defining product hierarchy. The options are:
- Category
- Sub Category
- Brand
- Flavor
- Package
- Product
This field is populated by the product level selected in the product assortment template and isn't editable.
Category Category of a product.
- From the Lookup section:
- Enter the assignment’s validity period.
- Click Add Products.
- Save your changes.
