You can add products to an activity only if the Consider Products option is selected for
the associated activity template. When you create a visit using the visit template added in the
activity, these products are added to the visit. And the surveys added in the activity template
are added for these products. The Products related list on an activity record page shows the
products that are added to an activity.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and
Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
User Permissions Needed
To add products to activities:
CGCloud Supervisor
OR
CGCloud Retail Supervisor User AND CGCloud Retail
User
OR
CGCloud Sales User
OR
CGCloud Retail Sales User AND CGCloud Retail User
From the App Launcher, find and select Activities.
Select an activity.
In the Products related list, click New.
Provide these details:

Description
Identification
Activity Product Name
Name of a record.
Activity
Name of an activity.
Product
Product related to an activity.
Product Number
Product number as defined in the product master data. This field is auto-populated,
and is shown only on the Activity Product Detail page.
Product Description
Description of a product as defined in the product master data. This field is
auto-populated, and is shown only on the Activity Product Detail page.
Excluded
Indicates whether a product is temporarily excluded from an activity.
Manually
Indicates whether a product is manually added to an activity. For products that are
added to activities through a field sales activity, the option is set to No.
Sales Org
Sales org of a product.
