To enable the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app integrate with Salesforce via
APIs, use the default connected app. From Spring’24, the CG Cloud offline mobile app comes
integrated with a default Consumer Goods Cloud connected app. To switch to a company-specific or
custom connected app, you can create a custom org and share its QR code with your sales reps to
connect their CG Cloud offline mobile app to this custom connected app.

To create a connected app

Important Connected apps creation is restricted as of Spring ‘26. You can
continue to use existing connected apps during and after Spring ‘26. To continue creating
connected apps, contact Salesforce Support. See New connected apps can no longer be created in Spring ‘26 for more
details.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Apps, and then select
Settings in the External Client Apps section.
Click New Connected App.
Enter a name.
Enter the contact email address and phone number.
Select Enable OAuth Settings.
In Callback URL, enter
https://login.salesforce.com/services/oauth/success, or
https://test.salesforce.com/services/oauth/success, for a testing
sandbox.
In Selected OAuth Scopes, select these options:
Access the identity URL service (id, profile, email, address, phone)
Manage user data via APIs (api)
Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
Deselect Require Secret for Web Server Flow, if selected.
To prevent logout due to inactivity, deselect Require Secret for Refresh Token
Flow, if selected.
To prevent repeated authentication popups when you launch the app, deselect
Issue JSON Web Token (JWT)-based access tokens for named users,
if selected.
