Create Accounts
After importing account data from an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, create additional accounts.

You can store these details in account records with basic account data, such as name and address:
- Customer Visit Setting: Configurations used for automatic call planning.
- Managers: Assigned users who visit an account based on calls planned.
- Contacts: Point of contact for an account.
- Customer Trade Organization Hierarchies: To build a trade org hierarchy.
- Customer Relationships: Wholesalers, payers, and delivery recipients for an account.
- Related Customer Relationships: Customers who are related to your customers.
- Org Units: Org units of a customer.
- Customer Conditions: Conditions with customer reference.
- Customer Extensions: Relationship between different user roles and customers.
- From the App Launcher, find and select Accounts, and then click New.

Provide these details.
Field Description Identification Account Name Name of a customer. Account Owner User responsible for a customer. Customer Number Unique identifier of a customer. Customer Template Template used to create a customer. Parent Account Name of the parent customer.
The sales org of the parent account and the customer template must be the same.
Name 2 Another name for a customer. Operating Hours Availability of a customer. External Id Identification for external account record. - Enter the address and communication details, and then save your changes.
- Add Contacts
Contacts store customer information. The relation between contact and customer is stored as Customer data. - Add Customer Managers
Customer Manager stores information about users who plan visits for an account. - Add Customer Relationships
A customer can have multiple relationships. For example, customers who receive goods ordered by a primary customer can be the customer's Delivery Recipient. And customers who pay the invoice can be the primary customer's Payer. But only one customer can be the primary customer's main customer. For example, a primary customer can have multiple wholesalers, but only one wholesaler can be the main wholesaler. All relationships have validity periods. - Add Related Customer's Relationships
Add information about relationships for your related customer. For example, if you've a payer, add information about the other accounts that your payer is related to. - Create Customer Trade Org Hierarchies
Create customer trade org hierarchies to better manage accounts. - Add Customer Org Units
Create a relationship between an org unit and a customer. - Add Customer Visit Settings
Customer visit settings are used for automatic visit planning. - Add Customer Extensions
To display customers on mobile devices, add the Account Extension data record to a customer. Each extension can have multiple roles. - Create Listing Classifications
Create listing classifications to let users define listing modules for an account for each category in the customer data.
